Regular repair works centre around Broads Sailing Cruisers and include replacing hull planking in Larch and Mahogany, replacing timbers in steam bent oak, through fastened with copper nails. Fitting floor frames and crooks, using grown oak bends where suitable. Fitting new keels and rudders, made to designs by A Wolstenholme. Re-covering decks with traditional brown linoleum or painted epoxy sheathing. Re-caulking plank seams with cotton and Sikaflex, or filling seams above waterline with epoxy. Larger restoration works include fitting new oak hogs and stems. Replacing beam shelves in Douglas Fir, deck beams in oak and fitting traditionally planked decks or marine plywood.
